The NEW Embossing Folder of the Month is called, Latticework (EOM-MAY24). I paired it with the NEW Grand Tropical Flamings Large Die of the Month (DOML-MAY24) along with a sentiment from the Curved Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plate & Die (GLP-434) with Gold Foil (GLF-014).

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

White Embossed Panel: 3 3/4" x 5"

White Foiled Sentiment Strip: 2 15/16" x 3/8"

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut White Panel measuring: 3 3/4" x 5" and emboss panel with Latticework (EOM-MAY24).
• Die Cut elements using Grand Tropical Flamings Large Die of the Month (DOML-MAY24) with Bubblegum, Passionate Pink, Rainforest and Fern card stock. Flower centers are cut from Gold Glitter card stock. Add ink blending with Passionate Pink and Fresh Asparagus ink. Assemble large flower.
• Foil "Hello Sunshine" sentiment using Curved Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plate & Die (GLP-434) with Gold Foil (GLF-014).
• Assemble card.

 Spellbinders NEW May 2024 Arrivals are NOW available and can be found in the store HERE. Today I'm back with another card featuring the NEW Summer Fun by House Mouse Collection.

 

My card features the NEW Sweet Birthday (RSC-027) from the Summer Fun by House Mouse Collection. I used Pinkfresh Licorice ink with my Misti and did not remove the stamp. I then used Copic Markers to color before placing the panel back into my Misti to re-stamping it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink to give it a crisp black outline. This step is totally optional and you can start off by just stamping the image in black ink and color.

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Bubblegum Embossed Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

White Arch Panel: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

 

Copic Markers Used:

Mouse: T2, T4, T6 (Fur) and E50, E51, E93 (Skin)

Hat/Candles/Cake Dish: R81, R83, R85

Cake: E23, E25, E27 (Frosting) and YR21, YR23 (Cake)

Ground: W2, W1

Steps to Create Card: 

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut Bubblegum A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and emboss with Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-062). Take White Pigment ink pad direct to card stock to make balloon pop.
  
• On a White A2 Panel stamp Sweet Birthday (RSC-027) with Pinkfresh Licorice ink using a stamp positioner and don't remove the stamp. Color image with Copic Markers. Place panel back into stamp positioner and re-stamp with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. This will give you a crisp image. Die Cut panel with Essential Arches (S5-526) to measure: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2".
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with Buttons Galore Crystal Stars and Diamond Stickles on the Party Hat & Candles .

I created two cards featuring the NEW Twilight Butterfly Stickers from the NEW Timeless Collection. I love how you can create quick & easy cards with a beautiful dimensional element by just pairing them with pattern paper and a foiled sentiment.

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Cosmic Sky Mat: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Butterfly Pattern Paper Panel: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Cosmic Sky Mirrored Arch Label Frame: 2 1/4" x 2 7/8" (outside of frame) and 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"(inside of frame).

Vellum Panel: 2 1/8" x 2 5/8"

White Branch: 2 3/4" x 2"

White Foiled Sentiment Strip: 3 1/8" x1/4"

Steps to Create Card: 

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Cut Cosmic Sky Mat measuring: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8". 
• Cut Butterfly Pattern Paper Panel measuring: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" with Butterfly Garden 6x6 Pattern Paper.
• Die Cut Cosmic Sky Frame measuring: 2 1/4" x 2 7/8" (outside of frame) and 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" using Mirrored Arch Labels (S5-613).
• Cut Vellum Panel measuring: 2 1/8" x 2 5/8".
• Die Cut White Branch using the smaller die from Branch Out (S4-1272).
• Foil "Sending You Strength" sentiment from Always and Forever Press Plate & Die with Cobalt Blue Foil (GLF-020). Die Cut out with coordinating die.
  
• Select Butterfly from Twilight Butterfly Stickers (SCS-331). Remove from sticker sheet and use embossing power tool to remove stickiness.
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with Midnight Sky Pearl Mix.

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Partly Cloudy Scallop Border: 1/4" (15/16" x 5 1/2" die cut)

Cosmic Sky Dotted Tag Frame: 2" x 3" (Outside Frame) and 1 5/16" x 2 5/16" (Inside Frame)

Steps to Create Card:

• Die Cut Partly Cloudy Scallop Border using Basic Borders (S6-206).
• Cut Cosmic Sky Mat measuring: 3 1/8" x 5 1/2".
• Cut Butterfly Pattern Paper Strip measuring: 3" x 5 1/2" using Butterfly Garden 6x6 Pattern Paper.
• Die Cut Cosmic Sky Tag Frame using Dotted Tags (S2-361) measuring:2" x 3" (Outside Frame) and 1 5/16" x 2 5/16" (Inside Frame). Cut Pattern Paper Panel measuring: 1 5/8" x 2 3/4". Cut Acetate Panel Measuring: 1 5/8" x 2 3/4". Assemble and add white eyelet.
  
• Foil "Feel Better Soon" sentiment from Always and Forever Press Plate & Die with Cobalt Blue Foil (GLF-020). Die Cut out with coordinating die.
• Select 2 Butterflies from Twilight Butterfly Stickers (SCS-331). Remove them from sticker sheet and use embossing power tool to remove stickiness.
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with White Cord and Clear Quartz Sequins.

Pink Sentiment Mat: 1 7/8" x 1/2"

White Sentiment Strip: 1 13/16" x 3/8"

Mouse: W1, W2, W3, W4 (Fur) and R11, R12 (Skin)

Bee: YR23 (Body) and BG000 (Wings & Trail)

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Card Base measuring: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4").
• Cut White A2 Panel measuring: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and emboss with Puff Dotty 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-036). 
• Cut Pink Polka Dot Pattern Paper Strip measuring: 2 1/2" x 4 1/4".
  
• Die Cut Bubblegum Mat measuring: 4 7/8" x 3 5/8" using Precision Layering A2 B (S5-494).
• Stamp image from Pop! (RSC-029) with Pinkfresh Licorice ink using a stamp positioner and don't remove the stamp. Color image with Copic Markers. Place panel back into stamp positioner and stamp with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. This will give you a crisp image. Die Cut panel with Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487) to measure: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
• Stamp "Just Be Yourself" sentiment from Pop! (RSC-029) with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Trim to sentiment strip measuring: 1 13/16" x 3/8". Cut Bubblegum mat measuring: 1 7/8" x 1/2".
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with Ballerina Pink Confetti Sequins and Clear Overlay Glitter Pen.

• Cut Sea Glass Panel Measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and emboss with Scattered Tropics 3D Embossing Folder of the Month (3EOM-MAY24).
• Die Cut Vellum Panel measuring:  2 3/4" x 4" using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487).
• Create White frame using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487). Outside of frame measures:  2 1/2" x 3 3/4" and Inside of frame measures:  2" x 3 1/4".
• Stamp image from Let's Get Together (CDOM-May24) with a Black alchol friendly ink and color with Copic Markers onto a White card stock. Markers used are listed above. Die Cut with coordinating die. You will tuck behind frame when you assemble card.
  
• Stamp sentiment from Let's Get Together (CDOM-May24) with Black ink on White card stock. Die Cut with coordinating die. 
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with White Cord and Glaze & Glue (birds beak and berries). Add highlights with Posca White Paint Pen.

• Cut Fresh Asparagus Strip measuring: 1" x 5".
• Foil Leaves using Tropical Leaves Press Plate & Die (BP-155) with Gold Foil (GLF-014). Color with Copic Markers.
• Foil "Dad You Are The Best" sentiment using the Mother's & Father's Day Sentiments Press Plate (BP-111). Use Gold Foil (GLF-014). Die Cut with coordinating die.
  
• Assemble Card.
• Embellish with Twine (from stash) and White Enamel Dots (SCS-285).

• Die Cut White Circle measuring: 2 1/8" using Everlasting Circles (S4-1280).
• Foil Leaves using Tropical Leaves Press Plate & Die (BP-155) with Gold Foil (GLF-014). Color with Copic Markers.
• Foil "Happy Father's Day" sentiment using the Mother's & Father's Day Sentiments Press Plate (BP-111). Use Gold Foil (GLF-014).
• Foil "From All of Us" sentiment using Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate & Die (BP-025). Use Gold Foil (GLF-014). Die Cut with coordinating die.
• Assemble card.
• Embellish with Gold Cord (from stash) and Gold Sequins.

My first card is a faux shaker I created by foiling an A2 panel of Glimmer Specialty Clear Film (SCS-154) with the NEW Tropical Bloom (GOM-APR24) with Gold Foil (GLD-014).

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

White A2 Frame: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (Outside), 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" (Inside)

White Ink Blended Panel: 4 1/8" x 5 1/4"

Foiled Glimmer Specialty Clear Film Panel: 4 1/8" x 5 1/4"

White Foiled Sentiment:  2 13/16" x 1"

Steps to Create Card: 

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Create White A2 Frame using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-494) by cutting an A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and take die measuring: 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" for opening. Attach piece of Glimmer Specialty Clear Film (SCS-154) measuring: 4 1/8" x 5 1/4". Add foam tape to the edges.
  
• Cut White A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/8" x 5 1/4" and ink blend with Gina K. Passionate Pink ink. Start dark on the bottom and get lighter as you get to the top.
• Foil an A2 Panel of Glimmer Specialty Clear Film (SCS-154) using Tropical Bloom (GOM-APR24) with Gold Foil (GLD-014).
• Foil "Mom Thanks For Everything" sentiment from Mother's & Father's Day Sentiments Press Plate & Die (BP-111) with Gold Foil (GLD-014). Die Cut with coordinating die. 
• To create the "Faux" shaker, I glued the Gold Sequins directly to the ink blended panel. 
• Assemble card. 

My second card features the NEW Tropical Bloom (GOM-APR24) with the Tropical Bloom Stencil (CLS-MAY24). Please note this stencil is only available in the Deluxe Caboodle Kit (DCVC-MAY24). I used Gold Foil (GLD-014). 

 

Card Measurements:

White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Passionate Pink Mat: 3 3/4" x 5"

White Foiled/Stenciled Panel: 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

Vellum Strip: 5" x 1 1/4" (Wrapped and attached to the back of white panel)

White Foiled Sentiment: 2 1/8" x 15/16"

Steps to Create Card:

• Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
• Die Cut Passionate Pink Mat measuring: 3 3/4" x 5" using Precision Layering A2 B (S5-494).
• Cut Vellum Strip measuring:  5" x 1 1/4", you will wrap around the white foiled/stenciled panel and attached in the back when assembling card.
• Foil White A2 Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" using Tropical Bloom (GOM-APR24) with Gold Foil (GLF-014).
• Foil "Thinking of You" sentiment using Mother's & Father's Day Sentiments Press Plate & Die (BP-111) with Gold Foil (GLF-014). Die Cut with coordinating die.
  
• Ink Blend the Foiled A2 Panel using Tropical Bloom Stencil (CLS-MAY24) with Gina K Bubblegum, Passionate Pink and Jelly Bean Green ink. Trim panel to measure:3 5/8" x 4 7/8" using Precision Layering A2 A (S5-487).
• Assemble card.
• Embellish with Gold Sequins.
